2017 Sights & Sounds on Second Festival & Parade

Downtown Fort Pierce came alive on Sunday, December 3, 2017 as thousands of people joined the City of Fort Pierce, The Fort Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis and Main Street Fort Pierce for the 29th Annual Sights and Sounds on Second Festival and Parade. Common Ground Vineyard Church started the day with an outdoor service, Santa arrived at the festival at 1:30 and local dance groups performed for the crowd as excitement built for the main event the Holiday Parade. This year’s parade was the biggest yet with 100 entries, 2600 participants and 62 horses. Immediately following the parade Mayor Linda Hudson, and Santa lit the Christmas tree and the Holiday Lights at Marin Square (Holiday Lights will run through January 7, 2018)
