Main Street Fort Pierce, along with local Downtown Merchants and friends will be at the Historic City Hall to kick off to the Holiday Shopping Season. Shopping will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. with a $5.00 donation, which includes shopping, libations and light snacks.

Need a little extra cash for shopping; Trew & Sons Jewelers will hold a Melting Pot: Cash for Gold! So look through your drawers and bring your unwanted gold for cash. Trew & Sons Jewelers will also bring a selection of Antes Silver for purchase.

Halloween Golf Tournament to benefit Main Street Fort Pierce

Budweiser, FPUA, Seacoast National Bank and Waste Management, Inc. sponsor the third annual Halloween Golf Tournament to benefit Main Street Fort Pierce.

Join us for a haunting good time on Saturday, October 29, at Gator Trace Golf Club. Our ghastly golf committee is looking for brave golfers and spooky sponsors ready to enjoy a great event while supporting a great cause …Main StreetFort Pierce.

New to the tournament this year is the Beer Bash. Budweiser will promote 5 beer tasting stations to introduce new product to the players.

The cost of the each player is $75.00 or $300.00 per team. Your entry fee will include a continental breakfast, a round of golf, lunch and raffle prizes. If you want more there is golf cart poker, a 50/50, and a silent auction.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available and tombstones will be set up around the course ready to add your business name as a tee or green sponsor.

Walk with us, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 for the Main Street Ghosts of Fort Pierce Past walking tour. There is $5.00 per person donation for the walk; Children under 5 are free.Tours will last approximately 1-1 1/2 hours.

Tours will begin at 5:30 pm, leaving from the City Hall Plaza (Between the new Parking Garage & City Hall Building) on Orange Avenue in Downtown Fort Pierce every 15 minutes. Our entertainment for the night will be Anderson Council. “Anderson Council” is a four piece band that has entertained audiences of all ages around the Treasure Coast.  The Band is made up of Bill Few, guitar, Diane Few, vocals, Kenny Pangburn bass guitar, and Mike Clemente, drums and percussion. They play a variety of music from Classic Rock to New Rock featuring artists such as Pink Floyd, Alanis Morrsiette, Pat Benatar, Pink, Melissa Ethridge and many more. “Anderson Council” has performed at various venues throughout theTreasureCoast such as, Friday Fest, Frog Leg Festival, Long Branch Saloon, Eagles Club, Backus Festival, Sandy Shoes Festival and many more.

Jeff Brown, from Clear Channel Radio, will also be at Friday Fest entertaining the crowd with Top 40 music.

Bring the kids to Friday Fest.  All In Fun, Inc., has teamed up with Main Street Fort Pierce to provide children’s activities during Friday Fest.  Children’s activities include a Giant Double Slide and a bounce house. Children’s Activities will be set up by the library.

 Arts & crafts vendors will line up in front of the Indian River in Marina Square.

Make sure you bring your appetite when you come to Friday Fest.  The food variety includes Greek, Caribbean, Barbeque ribs & chicken, Seafood, Stir Fry, Americana, and various snack items.

St. Lucie News Tribune – Andy Steinbergs was the Grand Prize winner of
the 17th Annual Reverse Raffle Denims & Diamonds, held at the Pelican
Yacht Club on Saturday, August 20, 2011. Andy Steinbergs said “Scripps
of the Treasure Coast would be donating the winning money back to Main
Street Fort Pierce for their continuing efforts and projects in

“Denim & Diamonds” will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011
at the Pelican Yacht Club at 1120 Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce.

6:00 pm – Doors open at with registration, photo opportunities, and the silent auction.

 6:30 pm – The Reverse Raffle starts counting down the numbers to the grand prize winner. The Reverse Raffle begins with 250 numbers. The first number called wins $100.00 and every 25th number called up to 225, wins $50.00. The last 10 numbers all win money starting at $100.00 and ending with the grand prize of $2000.00.

 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm – Music and dancing

 Approximately 8:15 pm – Live Auction Begins

 Only 250 tickets will be sold for the raffle. Each ticket is $100.00 and entitles the ticket holder to one number, admission for two people, light appetizers, music and dancing, and a fabulous live & silent auction.
