By Harimandir Khalsa(Interior Mural)

The Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) Mural was painted between March 17 and April 3, 1998. IT was dedicated on April 21, 1998 as part of the “Centennial Countdown” for the City of Fort Pierce. The artist is Harimandir Khalsa of Melrose, Florida.

The 500-square-foot mural features the four main FPUA utilities, which showcases historical aspects of Fort Pierce and St. Lucie County, along with Florida wildlife and plants.

The centerpiece of the mural is an old Florida map from which historical features radiate. The left side depicts land features, ending with our water and wastewater systems and the Manatee Observation and Education Center FPUA utility systems assure community progress.
