“SAILFISH”

By Brian “BEZO” Taylor

“Sailfish”

There is a huge, beautiful sailfish jumping out the water that
is nothing short of a traffic stopper, scaling the entire front
half of the side of the building. Owned by Hoyt C. Murphy
Inc. and family, the Dollar Tree building location was
presented to Bezo by the City of Fort Pierce, who along with
the Murphy family funded the commission of this mural. The
Benson Family as well as Parks Rental helped contribute
greatly to the project. There is even a sign erected by Pat
Murphy, designed by Bezo, to inform the towns people of the
project . Armed with about 100 spray paint cans, a half dozen
gallons of paint and two rollers, Bezo tackled the wall in 5
short days, with the cheering on of his family and his agent
as well as many spectators. He came back to sign his name
and add some extra water splashes on the 6th day and it was
a wrap. Project complete much to the delight of everyone
involved. The City of Fort Pierce, Hoyt C. Murphy Jr. & family,
amongst many others along-side artists such as Bezo are
working together to bring life, in the way of art, back to this
historic city. A quiet, small, marina town, Fort Pierce is home
to many talented artists and Bezo is happy to be welcomed
into the family.
