“DANCE OF THE SAILFISH & SHARK”
By Brian “BEZO” Taylor
“Dance of the Sailfish & Shark”
The City of Fort Pierce put out a call and Bezo answered.
#theBEZOshow, resident client of Blue Canary Agency LLC,
is compromised of all things that are his art. After painting
the mural “Dance of the Sailfish & Shark” on Ave. C aka
Backus Ave., next to Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Co., Bezo’s
name once again began swirling in the community. It
wasn’t long before his agent was contacted in regard to a
City mural project that was calling artists to uplift the art
face of the Fort, specifically the new Peacock Arts District.
About the Artist
As the kid who got in trouble for drawing and doodling on
everything in class, the journey began with a love and a
natural born talent for art. Born and raised in Baltimore,
MD, Bezo was asked to do renderings for various projects
for the City of Baltimore at the age of 15. By the end of
high school, he had filled dozens of sketch books with all
sort of drawings from pencil to charcoal, still-life to graffiti.
As time passed, he moved into different mediums such as
screen printing and by his twenties he was working in
computer graphics for the local NBC news station (WBAL).
In his spare time, Bezo had picked up the skill of tattooing.
Some of his local projects include an indoor mural of a
Buddha rendition for Sunrise City Spa & Yoga and a sailfish,
shark and dolphin mural under the railway bridge on
Avenue C (aka Backus Avenue.)
